Typhoon Sound:
It started off with a swap of a green goose feathered jacket for 2 turntables, a mixer, and a mic. Since 1992 the badboys of Reggae Mikey P and Bradley began a movement, The Typhoon Sound Movement. Typhoon Sound is a mix between promotion and performance of old school reggae. The duo combines their Select DJing skills with creative lyric writing, Mike being the lyricist and Brad being the DJ. Collecting tunes from all over the world Typhoon Sound has one of the oldest collection of music that Reggae has to offer. With their unique dub plate cutting skills classifies Typhoon as one of the leading innovators of Reggae music becoming what it is today. Therefore, creating something that is more then just music provides the two with a feeling of self satisfaction and pride that is why Mikey P and Bradley are TYPHOON SOUND. 'I am a consummate businessman who takes pride in what I do in the most modest form bottom line I follow God my only boss' words from “Ninja” aka “Da NR Supastar” aka Joel Powell. His laid back demeanor gives you a feel that he's always observing even when not speaking; Entrepreneur, Writer, DJ, Business Man, Rapper. Are just some of the terms used when describing this man's talent. Being the creator of “The Layer Show” and the leader of the “NR Worldwide Entertainment Group”. Ninja Ryders in a nutshell put internet radio on the map for Reggae. By bringing music that is not often heard on commercial stations every Saturday since October 19th 2002 the world, the globe, the universe would be able to log onto www.sensimedia.net to hear what they love and that’s “NR”. The show went off the air in 2004 due to an overwhelming busy schedule they couldn’t keep up. 1. First Round: 45's - 15 minutes - Anything Goes
2. Second Round 45's - 15 minutes - ONLY SINGING TUNES
3. Third Round - 15 minutes - No Reggae, No Dubs (Remix, Soca, Hip hop, Old School & No Swearing)
4. Fourth Round - Tune Fi Tune -(10 Tune) A WINNER MUST BE DECLARED
